Get the connection your ranked grind deserves
Latency, jitter, and upload stability matter more than raw Mbps. See your connection-sensitivity score and the fiber plans that earn the win.
Retailer disclosure: this tool matches your household to representative internet plans. Speeds shown are advertised maxima; actual performance depends on your address, wiring and Wi-Fi environment. Not every provider listed is one we place — availability and pricing are confirmed by a specialist before any order. Telemedia Solutions is an independent authorized retailer and is compensated by the provider on completed orders, which never changes the price you pay.
Compare Internet Providers for Your Address in 2026
We check your address, compare every provider that actually serves it, and place the order at the provider’s own price. No single-carrier bias, no markup, no guesswork about what is available on your street.

Authorized partner for the providers we place

These marks identify our authorized partner status only. Each provider owns its own trademarks and logos, and Telemedia Solutions is an independent authorized retailer rather than the provider itself.
Providers we compare
Availability is address-specific. Two homes on the same street can have different options, so treat this as a shortlist to check rather than a promise of what you can order.

Frontier Fiber
- True fiber to the home where it is built out
- Upload speeds that match download — good for work-from-home and streaming
- No data caps on fiber plans
- Whole-home WiFi equipment options

AT&T Internet
- AT&T Fiber where available, with symmetrical speeds
- Internet Air 5G home internet in select non-fiber areas
- Bundles with AT&T wireless
- No annual contract on most current plans

Spectrum Internet
- Broad availability where fiber has not been built
- No data caps and no annual contract
- Mobile bundle options
- Fiber-powered network with cable to most homes

Optimum
- Fiber tiers in built-out neighborhoods
- Cable service across a wider area
- Mobile and TV bundle options
- Price-lock offers on selected plans
Speed tiers shown are the ranges providers publish nationally. The tiers actually offered at your address, current promotional pricing, the promotional period, what the rate becomes after the promotional term, equipment fees, taxes and surcharges all vary by location and change frequently. We confirm the exact plan and price for your address before any order is placed. Nothing on this page is a quote.
Which speed do you actually need?
Most households are sold more speed than they use. The speed finder at the top of this page models how your home really uses the connection, but here is the short version.
1 to 2 people
Streaming, browsing, the occasional video call. A 100 to 300 Mbps plan is usually comfortable. Upload matters more than headline download speed if you work from home.
3 to 4 people
Several streams at once plus schoolwork and gaming. 300 to 500 Mbps handles this well. Latency and connection stability matter more than raw speed for gaming.
5 or more people
Simultaneous 4K streams, large downloads, smart home devices and cameras. 500 Mbps to 1 Gig gives you headroom without paying for capacity you will never touch.
Heavy upload use
Content creators, large file transfers, cloud backup, multiple cameras. This is where symmetrical fiber earns its price — the upload lane is the bottleneck, not the download.
Fiber, cable and 5G home internet — the honest version
What the connection types actually mean
Fiber to the home runs glass all the way to your house. Upload usually matches download, and performance holds steady when the neighborhood is busy.
Cable, including “fiber-powered” networks, uses fiber through the neighborhood and coaxial cable for the last stretch to your home. Download speeds can be very high; upload is typically a fraction of download. Providers market these as fiber-powered, which is accurate about the backbone but does not mean fiber reaches your wall.
5G home internet delivers service over the mobile network. It is genuinely useful where wired options are poor, but speed varies with tower load and signal quality at your address more than a wired connection does.
Download, upload and latency are three different things
Download is the number providers advertise. It governs streaming quality and how fast pages and files load.
Upload governs video calls, cloud backup, sending large files and camera feeds. It is the number most households underestimate.
Latency is responsiveness — how quickly the connection reacts. It is what competitive gaming depends on, and it is barely related to your plan’s speed tier. A 200 Mbps fiber line will usually feel better for gaming than a 1 Gig connection with high latency.
We do not publish specific upload or latency figures per plan, because they vary by location and equipment. We will confirm them for your address before you order.
Side-by-side comparison
Every row below depends on your address. This table is a starting point for the conversation, not a serviceability result.
| Provider | Connection type | Speed range | Upload | Best suited to |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Frontier | Fiber to the home in built-out areas | 200 Mbps to 7 Gig | Symmetrical on fiber | Work from home, heavy upload use, gaming |
| AT&T | Fiber, plus 5G Internet Air in select areas | 300 Mbps to 5 Gig | Symmetrical on fiber | Fiber neighborhoods and AT&T wireless bundles |
| Spectrum | Cable on a fiber-powered network | Up to 1 Gig | Lower than download | Wide availability, no data caps, no contract |
| Optimum | Fiber in built-out areas, cable elsewhere | Up to 8 Gig on fiber | Symmetrical on fiber tiers | Price-lock offers and TV or mobile bundles |
Availability, speed tiers, upload speeds, pricing, promotional terms and equipment fees vary by address and change without notice. Providers set all pricing. We confirm the current offer for your specific address before an order is placed.
Not sure which provider is right for you?
That is the entire reason we exist. A single-provider website has one answer for every address. We compare every carrier that serves your street and tell you honestly which one fits your household — including when the cheapest plan is the right one.
You pay the provider’s price either way. Our compensation comes from the provider on completed orders and never changes what you pay.
How the availability check works
You give us the address
ZIP gets us close, but serviceability is decided street by street and sometimes unit by unit. The full address is what produces a reliable answer.
We check every provider that serves it
Not one carrier’s map — all of them. That includes fiber builds that are live but not yet well advertised in your area.
We walk through the real trade-offs
Speed tier against price, upload against download, promotional period against the rate afterward, equipment fees, and what happens at the end of the term.
We place the order at the provider’s price
The provider owns the network, sets the pricing, and handles billing, installation and support. We handle getting you to the right one.
What to have ready
- Your full service address, including apartment or unit number
- Roughly how many people and devices use the connection
- Whether anyone works from home, streams in 4K or games competitively
- Whether you want TV or mobile bundled, or internet only
- Your current provider and what you pay now, if you are switching
That is usually enough for a firm recommendation in a single call. Running the speed finder at the top of this page first makes the conversation faster.

Frequently asked questions
Is Telemedia Solutions an internet provider?
No. We are an independent authorized retailer. The providers own the networks, deliver the service, set the pricing and handle billing, installation and support. We compare the options at your address and place the order.
Does going through you cost more than ordering direct?
No. You pay the provider’s own price. We are compensated by the provider when an order completes, and that compensation never changes what you pay.
Why do you need my full address and not just my ZIP?
Serviceability is decided street by street, and in apartment buildings sometimes unit by unit. A ZIP code narrows the list of likely providers; only the full address produces a reliable answer.
Which provider is the best one?
There is no single answer, which is the honest and unsatisfying truth. The best provider depends on what is physically built to your address, how your household uses the connection, and what you are willing to pay after the promotional period ends. That is the conversation we have with you.
What is the difference between fiber and fiber-powered?
Fiber to the home runs glass all the way to your house. Fiber-powered usually means fiber runs through the neighborhood and coaxial cable covers the last stretch. Both can be fast to download; the difference shows up in upload speed and in how the connection behaves when the neighborhood is busy.
How much speed do I actually need?
Most households need less than they are sold. One or two people are usually comfortable on 100 to 300 Mbps; a family of four on 300 to 500 Mbps; a heavy-use household on 500 Mbps to 1 Gig. The speed finder at the top of this page models your specific usage rather than adding numbers together.
Why does upload speed matter?
Upload governs video calls, cloud backup, sending large files and security camera feeds. On cable connections upload is typically a fraction of download, which is why a household that works from home often feels a difference on fiber even at a lower headline speed.
Does a faster plan improve my gaming?
Usually not much. Competitive gaming depends on latency and connection stability, which are largely unrelated to your speed tier. A moderate fiber plan will often feel better than a much faster connection with high latency.
Can you tell me the exact price before I order?
Yes, for your specific address. We do not publish prices on this page because promotional pricing, the promotional period, the rate afterward, equipment fees and taxes vary by location and change frequently. Publishing a number that is wrong for your address helps nobody.
What happens to my price after the promotional period?
It typically increases to the standard rate. We will tell you what that rate is and when it starts before you order, because it is the single most common source of complaints in this industry.
Are there data caps?
It depends on the provider and plan. Several plans we place have no data caps at all. We confirm the cap, if any, for the specific plan at your address.
Do I have to sign a contract?
Many current plans do not require an annual contract, but this varies by provider and by promotion. We confirm the contract terms before you order.
Can I keep my equipment or do I have to rent theirs?
This varies by provider. Some allow customer-owned equipment, others require their gateway, and some include equipment in the plan price. We confirm which applies to your plan.
How fast can installation happen?
In many areas installation can be scheduled within the same week, and some addresses qualify for self-installation. Timing depends on the provider’s schedule in your area.
Can I bundle TV or mobile?
Yes, with most of our provider partners. We describe bundle types rather than publishing bundle prices, because bundle pricing changes frequently and is the most likely thing to be out of date on any reseller page.
What if only one provider serves my address?
Then we will tell you that plainly, and help you pick the right tier from that provider rather than talking you into more speed than you need.
What if I am switching from another provider?
Tell us who you are with and what you pay now. It helps us tell you honestly whether switching is worth it, including when the answer is that you should stay where you are.
Is 5G home internet a real alternative?
In some places, yes, particularly where wired options are poor. Performance depends on tower load and signal quality at your address, so it varies more than a wired connection. We will tell you when it is a good fit and when it is not.
Do you serve businesses?
Yes. Business requirements differ enough from residential that a call is the right starting point rather than this page.
How do you make money?
Providers compensate us when an order completes. That is the whole model. It does not change your price, and it is why we would rather place you on the right plan than the most expensive one — the wrong plan cancels.
Who do I contact for support after I am connected?
Your provider handles billing, technical support and service visits, because they own the network. If you cannot get traction with them, call us and we will help you escalate.
